Indications for Use
The AIRA Ventilator is indicated for the minimum ventilatory support of adult patients (age 18+) weighing at least 100 lbs. (45.4 kg) who require continuous ventilation.
The ventilator is a restricted medical device intended for use by qualified, trained personnel under the direction of a doctor.

This ventilator is not for use with anesthetic gases and is not intended for use as an emergency transport ventilator or for at home us.

Like OxVent, TVP (The Ventilator Project) in Boston, Massachusetts, was established to provide ventilators for the Covid crisis in its home country. TVP and OxVent share the social enterprise ethos and have agreed to collaborate making TVP’s AIRA ventilator available outside the USA.
